Fits wrists up to 7.5 inches. Made by David and his mom Y Black obsidian is a natural volcanic glass created by the rapid cooling of felsic lava. It has a smooth, glossy surface, a deep black hue, and fractures with characteristic sharp, conchoidal breaks.
Composition: A mineraloid rich in silica without a true crystalline structure. Color: Usually jet black, sometimes showing brown, grey, or iridescent patches caused by gas bubbles or iron and magnesium inclusions. Texture:
Glassy, reflective, and prone to fracturing into razor-sharp edges, historically used for tools like cutting instruments and arrowheads.
Historically, it has been used since ancient times by civilizations such as the Aztecs and Stone Age cultures for making weapons, mirrors, and ceremonial objects. In metaphysical practices, it's valued for grounding and protective qualities.
